How to create private name servers

If your domain is registered with us, you can create your private name servers through the client area.

  1. Go to the domain list and click on the Down Arrow button and choose Manage Domain.
  2. Under Manage, click on Private Nameservers
  3. Type in the host you want for the first nameserver (example ns1) and type in the IP address of the server that will be hosting the DNS (if you have VPS with us, type in the IP address of the server) and Save changes.
  4. Do the same for the second name server from step #3.
  5. You're done, you should then be able to use the name servers you have created.

Note: Be sure to create the A records on the DNS zone for the name servers you have created.
