How to create snapshot

Prerequisites: You must have a Velosity SSD VPS

 

  1. Login to the client area at https://secure.entitydata.com.au
  2. Find the VPS service/product under Services and click/open it.
  3. Under Additional Tools, click on the Snapshots icon.
  4. Click on Take Snapshot button.
  5. Type in the name of the snapshot and you can add a description as needed, then make sure Include RAM is disabled and click on the Confirm button.
  6. The snapshot should be active within a minute.

Note: Please also make sure to delete the snapshot if not needed anymore. Snapshots left longer can reduce disk performance.
