How to restore from a snapshot

Prerequisites: You must have a Velosity SSD VPS with a snapshot previously created

  1. Login to the client area at https://secure.entitydata.com.au
  2. Find the VPS service/product under Services and click/open it.
  3. Under Additional Tools, click on the Snapshots icon.
  4. From the snapshot list, there should be a rollback icon, just click on it and it should ask to confirm the rollback.
  5. Once you confirmed the rollback, the server should be restored from the snapshot and may need to be powered back on.

Note: Please also make sure to delete the snapshot if not needed anymore. Snapshots left longer can reduce disk performance.
